No sooner had the last Historic Throw been sold, when 3 orders popped up — SO a new listing is forming. Must have 15 to order. Still $35.

We welcome new member, Dolores Nonella Zambruno, a local lady, now of the Central Valley.

A recent donation permitted the purchase of a TV stand with special shelf for the DVD/VCR player. Now the sizeable DVD/VCR collection is neatly stored.

VISITORS, local and nearby, continue to share great photos and artifacts with the Society. There is a wonderful photo of the 2 story Adobe with a ?1920 Chevy at the door. Thanks, Louie.

Another item is the ancient fire extinguisher from the HY Katayama store; thanks, Brent. It has the store name etched on it.

A new leaf has been added to the Swing Panel featuring the Minettis and the Far Western Tavern. Do come see.

Another exhibit is in planning: a review of the several local churches beginning with the 1873 Methodist Episcopal site possibly later used as the first school house. Please, if anyone has photos inside or outside any of the churches, would you share to make the exhibit more exciting. A photo inside the old Catholic church possibly showing the Pascal candle stand, donated to the museum, would make Ye Ed ecstatic! The candle stand is being refurbished as it showed its over 100 years!

The Society will combine with the FRIENDS to share organization information to the City August 25/26 at the CURVES site, between 8 AM and 7 PM.

FRIENDS still collecting recipes-mail to Box 484, Guadalupe. THANK YOU.
